Guagua Challe es un emprendimiento que lleva laborando alrededor de 5 años en el mercado artesanal, ubicado en la ciudad de Cuenca, entre las calles Hermano Miguel y Juan Jaramillo, su propietario Cristian Morocho manifiesta que el nombre de este emprendimiento se deriva de su vivencia personal, traduciéndose como “niño de la calle”. La variedad de las artesanías que se encuentran en este local representa la cultura de los distintos países a los que ha visitado, mismos que se reflejan en diseños personalizados, aplicando técnicas como; la filigrana, el macramé y tallados con la utilización de alambre, piedras semipreciosas, madera y esponja. Además, este emprendimiento busca ayudar a otros artesanos brindándoles un espacio para que sus productos puedan ser visibilizados en el mercado sin costo alguno. Por otra parte, su conocimiento y perseverancia le ha permitido brindar talleres en la Casa de la Mujer. Por esta razón, su objetivo es fomentar y preservar el arte precolombino, por lo que ofrece de manera gratuita enseñar a personas interesadas en conocer y aprender este tipo de técnicas artesanales en su local.
