Oasi was born in 1999 in Guanzate as a type B social cooperative. Through professional qualification paths based on experimentation, gives disadvantages people the opportunity to develop their skills making it possible for them a regain a place in society as well as a job. Particular attention is given to disabled persons, the territory and environmental sustainability. The cooperative collaborates with the local institutional services in order to launch work projects through which individuals placed in disadvantaged conditions manage to grow and evolve.

Over time, Oasi has developed 7 different sectors of activity – services and production (green maintenance, cemetery areas management, ecological service and small maintenance, building cleaning, the “lavoratorio” – third party works, arcipelago park, educational service) – to maximise the inclusion of disadvantaged workforce by offering different opportunities and professional qualifications.
