Il Sorriso
Il Sorriso was launched in 1993 by the social cooperative La Solidarietà which had been operative since 1982.
It offers services for disabled people and their families i.e.: Day Centers, Residential Communities and Summer Centers. Everything is programmed according to a psycho-socio-pedagogical approach based on positive relationships. The goal is to help people gain a social life through ergo-therapeutic and artistic-creative activities.
The structure includes two Day Centers in the municipalities of Carugate and Pessano / c Bornago, and a residential community in the municipality of Bussero.
Because it is a community of adults, it also becomes a working community. Today, the Cooperative has 60 users, 20 operators, 50 members and about 100 volunteers.
