Alcagüete

Alcagüete is a certified as a B corporation, having social and environmental impact in Colombia, the company’s aim is to end malnutrition starting with Colombia. For each purchase, they donate a complete meal for malnourished children around the country. They believe that there is a solution for social and environmental issues in a consumer-friendly and sustainable way. Not only do they help the children, but they are also involved in helping the local agricultural producers. This is done through the purchase of coconut from the farmers in Cauca, Cocoa from the Santander region, camu camu and acai from the Amazon region.
The founders hope that the company will no longer be dependent on its owners through the involvement and growth within time. Their motto is to recognize humility and see the world as it is. This providing them to learn, gain knowledge and strive for excellence in reducing malnutrition.
