It was founded on June 12 of the current year. It is comprised of 43 women from the Rural Community of Nuevo Pedregal, who are dedicated to the production and crafting of handmade toquilla straw products. Our products are trending in the market, and we rescue the ancestral art of toquilla straw weaving as a part of the Tallán culture. Our work goes beyond creating beautiful pieces. Considered as cultural heritage, we promote and preserve the traditions of the community.
