Arti&Mestieri Sociali began its activities in 1994 with the management of Youth Aggregation Centers by constructing participatory paths and promoting active citizenship aimed at the new generations, while maintaining an attentive gaze towards children with greater fragility. Thus it began a journey based on the progressive knowledge of the territorial contexts of reference and of the actors who operated there, institutions, other experiences of cooperation and local volunteering. Since 1997, Arti&Mestieri Sociali, manages a reception community for minors who are victims of abuse, aimed at protecting the minors and supporting their families. In 2002 the cooperative took on, for the first time, the management of a Municipal Child and Family Service. They work in synergy with the public administration in a constant effort to build operational synergies with specialized services, with training agencies, with territorial networks that have the ability to help towards the construction of integrated systems. From the end of the 90s on the cooperative extended its activities to the management of services for people with disabilities and the elderly.
