Joyería KENA® – Filigrana de Mompox was born thanks to a family legacy left to master craftsman Osvaldo Herrera Troncoso, who founded this jewelry store in 1996 but has been developing this beautiful art for more than 40 years. Filigree is a technique in which very fine silver and gold threads are woven by hand, braided, and rolled millimetrically in previously designed spaces. Filigree is also a technique that allows us to develop various designs, for which we are inspired by the fauna, flora, significant images, and especially in the architecture of the beautiful city, Santa Cruz de Mompox. Their products are characterized by always maintaining excellent finishes. They are a registered trademark before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce, and we are also part of the collective trademark Filigrana de Mompox – registered before the same entity. They are a team of 7 people fully trained and experienced in this art, and in customer service because for the company it is essential customer satisfaction. Likewise, they want to make known the art of momposina filigree in our country and little by little to the rest of the world. Furthermore, they also give classes on their technique to conserve the wonderful tradition.
