Nindalgo is a medium-size export industry of an Ecuadorian legume called chocho. We connect 150 small farmers to the business’ supply chain, and also teach them how to improve their yield during harvest. It is important to notice that this business started selling around $2,000 USD/Month in 2018 in Ecuador. But climbed up to $90-130.000 USD/Month, in 4 years due to the exports sales to USA. The business kept growing and we signed a contract until 2025, warranting purchases up to $2.1M USD/Year. Later on, in 2019 we applied as Nindalgo S.A. to a contest for circular economic initiatives. The whole team with my leading, managed to collect businesses ideas so we could process the food industry residue, and transform it into agribio fertilizers. We won an award of non reimbursable funds for $180.000 USD to build the processing plant.
