Tienda de Sonrisas is a social company that was born in Barranquilla in 2016 with the aim of closing gaps between artists / artisans and the global market of conscious buyers. It seeks to help independent people and small family or community businesses that offer sustainable products, working with Colombian artisans, paying a fair price for their products, co-creating new products and improving existing ones and eliminating intermediaries between artisan and buyer. They recognize the talent that minorities in Colombia hide – vulnerable population communities with much to contribute to the culture and economy of the region.
