The social enterprise Dobrini is a part of the Association Knigini. It employs disadvantaged women from the village of Chelopek, who put a piece of themselves into each product. They handmake wax candles, scented soaps, paintings with Scandinavian moss and recycled paper. The income that is generated goes towards both paying for the women’s work and future initiatives of the association, which is the creator of the first Bulgarian village of the book – the village of Chelopek, Vratsa region, Bulgaria. The mission of the association is to create more jobs for disadvantaged people and to proudly represent the Vratsa region, both in Bulgaria and internationally.
