K’anti

K’anti is a sustainable artisanal fabrics initiative, which contributes to improving the quality of life of women from northern Tiquipaya and the conservation of the Andean bear that lives in the area. K’anti provides equipment, constant training and fair commercial relations to artisan women for the sale of their fabrics. Likewise, each purchase directly contributes to the development of research, education, dissemination and training activities for the Andean Bear and its habitat through Jucumari program. While K’anti is born from a community conservation program of the Andean bear, it is now a potential triple impact initiative that empowers women from local communities and promotes the sustainable use of natural resources.
