Aelle Il Punto
Aelle il Punto is a social cooperative established in 1980. It was set up inside the S. Maria della Pietà psychiatric hospital in Rome by a group of volunteers, psychologists, artists, artisans and citizens actively engaged in combating the isolation and the marginalization of the mentally ill. Mission: • To promote and enhance the person and the family through interventions in the social-welfare, social-health and educational sectors, aimed at guaranteeing social citizenship and quality of life, as well as equal opportunities and protection of the weakest subjects; • Social education and training; • Remove and reduce the conditions that hinder people’s full participation in social life through services aimed at families, young children, the disabled, and all citizens in a state of hardship and at risk of marginalization; • Prevent factors of social hardship.
