Arino Solidale Cooperative was founded in 2002 «to make concrete the Christian inspiration of fraternity, according to the principle of mutuality and through the solidarity participation of the members, without the purpose of private speculation». In 2020 the Cooperative transformed itself and became a Social Cooperative. It owes its existence to community resources, in particular volunteers and organizations with social solidarity purposes and also thanks to the contribution of the working members of the cooperative. In order to be able to best look after the interests of the members and the socio-economic and cultural development of the community, it must actively cooperate with other cooperative bodies, other enterprises, social enterprises and organizations of the Third Sector, on a local, national and international scale.
