“The UVa Social Entrepreneurship Laboratory (UVaLES) is established as a space for creation and co-creation, experimentation and validation of “fused” social entrepreneurship projects.
The UVaLES is aligned with the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) and the 2030 Agenda, mainstreaming sustainability through multilevel governance.
It focuses on vulnerable, marginalized, excluded and at-risk groups, and INCLUDES them; It addresses them, WITH THEM, whom it considers ACTIVE subjects who are part of a DIVERX SPACE, supporting entrepreneurial actions, that is, the development of projects that are in principle personal-germinal.
The UVa-LES has several sections:
Academy (with two levels, pre-acceleration of entrepreneurial competence in undergraduate students and acceleration of entrepreneurial competence at the postgraduate level);
Germinal (development of social entrepreneurship projects validated by competition);
Challenges (proposal of a collective theme to develop a protocol for addressing complex situations and their resolution through the social entrepreneurship model);
Observatory of the Future and Project Accelerator.
Through UVaLES, social entrepreneurship projects are promoted that can be individual or team-based, or can be integrated into a hybrid value chain. They can contain a product or a service, or both, or start as a product that is transformed into a service.
A space for creation is offered from the fusion with the lean methodology of social entrepreneurship. Our methodology involves: detecting a problem-need (within the framework of the SDGs-Agenda 2030); carry out a field-state-of-the-art study combined with methodology/technology-neuroscience.
We offer a solution/response if possible experiential (product-service or both) integrating marginalized, excluded or at-risk groups. They are the center of the projects, either because they lead the proposals from their personal perspectives, or because they act as Sherpas in the diverse space in which they move. Social inclusion mainstreams all proposals.
Micro-training is also offered in the acceleration of entrepreneurial competence with an inclusive social approach.”
