The Skateroom

The Skateroom follows the ideal of business ideas becoming a means for building, financing, and implementing systemic solutions to the globe’s most pressing needs. It challenges the status quo of brand and corporate responsibility and turns consumers into active contributors in socially engaged projects. The project unites art buyers, artists, galleries, museums, foundations, retailers, and non-profits around the world in a new economic model. 5% of the turnover or 25% of the profit from artistic labour from every sale is donated and so far $700,000 was raised to fund 34 social skate projects dedicated to empowering at-risk youth around the world.
