At Artecultorio, a company dedicated to managing cultural projects, we have taken the role that art plays in society very seriously. We understand that art has a purpose beyond entertainment and that it can be used as a tool for social change. Our goal is that each artist (no matter if he or her is an urban singer or dancer) can implement in his o her project a social element that will not only make him have a differential, but will also allow him to develop his social conscience and grow as a person. We have multiple stories of how artists have implemented sustainable development goals in their projects. One of my favorites is the case of the urban group Green Eyes, who after working with us decided to donate 70% of their income from concerts to the Mahavir Kmina foundation, a foundation in charge of donating prosthetics to people who do not have the resources to access them. We are currently allied with the Debra Foundation (butterfly skin), Enfocate con Propósito Foundation (university education) and + Colombia (youth leaders). It would be an honor for me to be able to share some of the most outstanding stories that we have had with our artists and that these serve as a source of inspiration and example for the cultural ecosystem.
