Fundación Gero

A non-profit foundation founded in September 2017 in honor of Gerardo Arturo Romero Navarrete (1982 – 2017) who died in a traffic accident while riding his bicycle on the ascent to the Alto de Patios in Bogota. Gerardo was a passionate cyclist, entrepreneur, generator of ideas and a Creative Dreamer!
He was fond of cycling since he was a child, because he cared for the environment; he always believed in the responsibility of changing the world and leaving it better than it was when we arrived. A FOUNDATION INSPIRED BY HIS LIFE.
The Foundation’s Objective is to raise awareness about the life of cyclists, the responsibility of drivers, promote cycling and its responsible use, inclusive cycling, green logistics projects and support cycling schools with training processes for professional cyclists (Sustainable Development Goals: 3, 5, 11 , 13, 17).
