APA Azuay

The Association of Agroecological Producers of Azuay began its activities in 1995, approximately 26 years ago. A group of 20 agroecological producers from different cantons of the province of Azuay, mostly women (15 people and 5 men), motivated by the generation of income for their own subsistence and that of their families, decided to organize themselves as a strategy that would allow them to achieve their objectives.
Mission: an organization dedicated to agroecological production that respects the environment, human health because no agro toxics are used, also guarantees fair trade providing quality, quantity, to its customers.
Vision: To be an organization with a solid administrative and financial structure, to have its own commercialization center, more solidary, that goes to the benefit of the partners.
