COOPERATIVA DE PRODUCCIÓN ARTESANAL AYNI
AYNI (palabra quechua que significa reciprocidad), es una cooperativa de producción artesanal que nace el 28 de febrero del 2019 en la ciudad de Cuenca – Ecuador, tras la iniciativa y alianza de la Casa de la Cultura Ecuatoriana Núcleo Azuay, el Centro Interamericano de Artes Populares (CIDAP) y COAC Jardín Azuayo. Esta cooperativa se dedica a la comercialización directa a precio justo, de productos de diferentes artesanos y artesanas azuayos en diferentes categorías tales como: tallado (piedra, mármol y madera), joyería (filigrana, embutido, esmaltado), metalistería (cobre, aluminio, metal reciclado y hierro forjado), fibras naturales (duda y paja toquilla), cerámica y bordados.
De esta manera, esta cooperativa además de promover y dar valor al trabajo del grupo artesanal azuayo, busca promocionar el patrimonio cultural popular de la mencionada provincia, dado que cada una de sus artesanías de los objetos que se comercializan en la galería, guardan cierta identidad y un relato propio en cada una de sus artesanías. Cabe resaltar que las utilidades obtenidas por la cooperativa, no son destinadas a un fin social por el momento debido a que este es un emprendimiento nuevo el cual reinvierte sus utilidades en las actividades correspondientes a su giro de negocio.
Ayni (Quechua word that means reciprocity), is a cooperative of artisanal production that was born on February 28, 2019 in the city of Cuenca – Ecuador, after the initiative and alliance of the House of Ecuadorian Culture Nucleus Azuay, the Inter-American Center of Popular arts (CICAP) and COAC Garden Azuayo. This cooperative is dedicated to direct marketing at fair price, products from different craftsmen and grazing craftsmen in different categories such as: carving (stone, marble and wood), jewelry (filigree, sausage, enameled), metalwork (copper, aluminum, Recycled metal and wrought iron), natural fibers (doubt and straw toquilla), ceramic and embroidery.
In this way, this cooperative in addition to promoting and giving value to the work of the Azuayo artisan group, seeks to promote the popular cultural heritage of the aforementioned province, given that each of its crafts of objects that are marketed in the gallery, keep some identity and an own story in each of his crafts. It should be noted that the profits obtained by the cooperative, are not intended for a social purpose at the moment because this is a new entrepreneurship which reinvieces its profits in the activities corresponding to its turning business.
