ARCA is a private, non-profit foundation, legally created on August 25, 2003, which promotes respect and solidarity towards all forms of animal life, without distinction of species. ARCA’s main objective is to actively contribute to a civilizational transformation that enables planetary coexistence in an integral framework of non-violence. To achieve this, ARCA has established the following strategic priority areas: legal, educational, concrete actions, training of activists.
All the programs designed in the different strategic areas respond to ARCA’s macro policy, which is the eradication of all human practices involving abuse, exploitation and mistreatment of other animal species. Since its creation, ARCA has designed and executed animal defense programs delimited in its various strategic areas: educational, with the creation of spaces for reflection and awareness among children and youth in local educational centers; legal, with the management of ordinances and laws for the defense and protection of animals; of denunciation, with the social projection of protest against the mistreatment of animals in public shows, experimentation, abandonment, etc.; of rescue actions, with the creation of spaces for reflection and awareness among children and youth in local educational centers. ; of rescue actions, with the care, recovery and adoption of abandoned and mistreated animals; in the training of ARCA activists with the realization of workshops that address various themes of animal defense.
