Peluditos Cuenca nace el 12 de Octubre del 2012 como el proyecto de Marty Parra, puesto que se cansó del maltrato que sufrían los animalitos sobre todo perros y gatos en nuestra ciudad, la asociación se crea con la finalidad de ayudar a los animalitos maltratados, no solo a los domésticos y compañía, sino a todos los animalitos que tenemos en nuestro planeta y de esta manera eliminar completamente el abandono del cual varios animales sufren en nuestra ciudad a causa del desconocimiento de las personas. La falta de importancia de parte de las autoridades ha hecho que se cree este grupo para hacer la labor que por ley les corresponde. En la asociación de Protección Animal Peluditos Cuenca nos dedicamos específicamente a la ayuda voluntaria de los animales de la calle que se encuentran atropellados, enfermos, hembras a punto de parir, nos encargamos de su recuperación tanto psicológica como física, luego de esterilizarlos, vacunarlos y desparasitarlos les buscamos hogares responsables para ser entregados en adopción. Somos una organización que busca concienciar a la ciudadanía y la ayuda que se ofrece a los animales huérfanos es posible con las donaciones que los simpatizantes de nuestra labor hacen día a día y nos apoyan para los pagos de facturas y las diferentes necesidades que se presentan en torno a nuestra actividad. La motivación más grande que tenemos sin duda es el amor incondicional hacia los seres que si bien no pueden expresar con palabras sus sentimientos, lo hacen a su manera.
