Agape believes that every person has the right and the duty to make his personal potentials emerge but to ensure this it is necessary to fight inequality, suffering and poverty. Agape sets forth strategic objectives such as: the promotion of people’s social development; the practice of solidarity to promote self-development and self-sufficiency; help the children and the young to strengthen their self-confidence and their trust in others. Agape also creates funds to support education for the young and in so doing shapes a better future for them. Among the various projects in which Agape is committed, there is the one in Mozambique: Baking, pastry and gelato art training center, which aims to launch one of these social activities namely Cremedoce de Fronteira, an ice cream and pastry shop. This activity allows young people to learn a new job and consequently learn about the use and maintenance of sophisticated machineries as well as the tradition of ice-scream and artisan pastry.
