The Arcobaleno Social Cooperative was founded in 1986 by a group of professionals in the animation and educational sector. Arcobaleno was one of the first territorial realities in the Grosseto area to deal with social healthcare. The Arcobaleno Cooperative has work agreements with both public bodies and private subjects. The cooperative assists the elderly, the disabled, those in situations of social marginalization, minors, youths in difficulty, people who are excluded by society, persons with mental health problems and works to prevent violence against women. To carry out its services the cooperative makes use of pedagogists, professional educators, social workers, community animators, psychologists, psychomotricians, music therapists, professional nurses, elementary and kindergarten teachers, qualified operators in charge of basic assistance, OSA , OSS, OSSS, social workers. Arcobaleno also collaborates with external trainers, takes care of organizing internal training for its staff, organizes training for teachers, collaborates with schools of various types and levels for the realization of educational projects and for parenting support projects.
