The Eva Anti-Violence Center was founded in 2003 in the municipality of Maddaloni. Eva operates as an anti-violence center and shelter to support women and their minor children victims of violence and abuse within and outside the family. The center guarantees a safe place to escape violence and a path out of difficult situations, offering a wide range of opportunities. It has a support network for the women and their children and helps them build self-esteem. It also promotes an innovative culture in relation to gender-based violence in the area through training and information courses. The center also undertakes research, cultural analysis, comparison and debate, awareness-raising and training to combat gender-based violence. Service and activities offered: • Hospitality; • Orientation; • Legal advice; • Psychological Consulting; • Self-help groups; • Accompaniment in the process of reintegration into work; • Awareness raising actions; • Work orientation; • Reception.
