Equoevento Onlus is a non-profit organization, founded in December 2013 in Rome by five young professionals who, realizing the enormous waste of food during the events, wanted to find a remedy by collecting and donating food surpluses to charitable organizations, family homes, the poor and the needy. During events, food is often in excess and not consumed. Thanks to Equoevento food is collected and donated to the less fortunate and disadvantaged people. Contacting Equoevento means not only making a gesture of generosity and solidarity and acting in a humble and a fair manner, but it is also an action of sustainability where excess food is transformed from potential waste to an important resource.
