La Giada Onlus is a social cooperative whose topics of interest concern issues related to social exclusion and paths of social inclusion. It offers activities mainly aimed at assistance, socio-integrative interventions for the elderly and the disabled. The services are divided into: residential, semi-residential structures, home services and preventive interventions, territorial units and financed and self-financed professional training. To accomplish its purposes, the social cooperative collaborates with social operators, educators, entertainers, psychologists, sociologists, social workers and volunteers. The inspiring principles of the cooperative are: mutuality, solidarity, democracy, commitment, the balance of responsibilities with respect to roles, the community spirit, the link with the territory and a balanced relationship with the State and public institutions.
