“La Finestra” social cooperative was founded in Sogliano al Rubicone in 1999, mostly working with young people and children. The transformation of the cooperative into a mixed category (A and B), also allowed it to carry out other activities with the possibility of favoring the employment of disadvantaged people. The social object concerns the management of nursery schools, supplementary and support services at schools and social and supplementary institutes, social and integrated assistance for the disabled, minors and families in difficulty, guaranteeing their care, surveillance and physical and mental protection. Cultural, recreational and welfare activities are also organized in favor of the physically and mentally handicapped and their families as well as people with other types of disadvantage. Other activities carried out: • Organization and management (also in collaboration with other entities) of support and reception services, animation and assistance for people in need or at social risk. • Promotion of training of members and operators; • Awareness-raising and animation activities in the local community; • Promotion of the commitment of the institutions in favor of weak and disadvantaged and promotion of the latter’s rights. About 100 people work and collaborate within the cooperative, including working members, employees and collaborators, all of whom are in possession of adequate qualifications for the tasks assigned.
