La Valle Social Cooperative was founded in 1983. The organization boasts over 35 years of history and experience making it one of the most important realities in the area of Gaeta in the field of social issues such as health care, rehabilitation in general as well as social cooperation. It mainly deals with outpatient rehabilitation; residential care for disabled adults (Community Housing); semi-residential social and health care; home rehabilitation treatment. Creative activities like handicraft pottery and manual skills are carried out in workshops as instruments for social integration. The laboratory is also often used for recovery and “occupational therapy” projects and it is possible to buy both the objects made and specific materials. 

Today, the cooperative is made up of forty members, thirty employees and various collaborators including doctors, therapists and consultants.
