The SVS Donna Aiuta Donna Onlus association was set up in 1997 to support the Sexual Violence Rescue of the IRCCS Cà Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico Foundation. It was founded thanks to a group of gynecologists and other women who wanted to create a specialized center to offer assistance to people who had suffered sexual assault. Services offered: • Assistance to people who have suffered violence and mistreatment, through structured interviews, aimed at identifying a personalized project to help them escape from violence; • Consultancy and legal assistance to victims of violence, thanks to a pool of lawyers, civil and criminal lawyers; • Information, orientation and legal support interviews, also for access to free legal aid. • Career guidance and coaching desk dedicated to the women who want to define personalized work inclusion paths. SVS DAD works within a network with public and private territorial services to support these projects; • Psychological support to the women it takes care of, including through self-help groups. • Support to women in defining an individual path aimed at achieving autonomy, also through integration and connection with public and private territorial services; • Help for minors who are victims of direct violence or have assisted acts of violence. The association also helps with their education. • Develops information and awareness projects aimed at fighting and prevention of violence for presentations in schools. It also carries out communication campaigns aimed at the population in general.
