The Vo.Re.Co Odv was founded in 1978 in Rome and operates within the “Regina Coeli” Judicial Prison of Rome where it offers moral and material support to the inmates whilst outside the prison it takes care of the “Centro Vo.Re.Co” which receives and helps people in difficulty. Mission: • To give moral and material support in the Regina Coeli prison in Rome; • To support destitute prisoners who have no reference point outside the prison; • To carry out initiatives to sensitize civil society on justice issues (events and conferences); • To give reception in the “Centro Vo.Re.Co” to disadvantaged people and ex-convicts; • To give assistance to victims of crime; • To offer material and moral support to needy families in the area; • To carry out training courses for volunteers; • To carry out mini-projects for formation.
