“Voglio la Luna” Association was established in 1997 from the idea of Dr. Guido Cattabeni within the Child Neuropsychiatry of the Corberi Hospital in Limbiate. The commitment and objective was of promoting, organizing and carrying out psychological and educational interventions to favor the integration in the normal social context of people with mental, psychic and psycho-physical disabilities. There were more than 300 people hospitalized in the Child Neuropsychiatry ward of the Corberi Hospital in Limbiate and it is precisely for them and with them that the experience of the Volunteers of “Voglio la Luna” begins. The exclamation “Voglio La Luna” is the answer that the first volunteers gave to the question they were asked: “What do you want for these children?” I WANT THE MOON!
