PALLAY is a social development project that works with high Andean communities in Cusco; with master weavers who weave with the ancestral technique of the backstrap loom, a technique that is part of our cultural identity. The process is environmentally friendly: they work with sheep and alpaca fibres from the community, and dye with natural dyes (plants or roots from the area). We value ancestral textile art and we want it to be visible to the world. In PALLAY, “we connect the high Andean culture with the world”.
